Can I get my item FAST? How can I see what shipping options are available?

We understand that you want your item fast. You will see the shipping options and their associated costs on the 2nd page of check-out. You will be able to see all the shipping options BEFORE you have to enter your payment.

What carriers do you use for shipping?

 USPS Priority, USPS Express, FedEx Express, and FedEx ground
All or some of these options are available, depending on your location. 

I need my item delivered on FedEx on Saturday, but there was not a Saturday delivery option at checkout. What should I do?

If you chose FedEx shipping and did not specifically select a Saturday delivery option in FedEx when you checked out, then your package will not be delivered on Saturday.  If you need the package delivered on Saturday then call 802 432 8439 to let us know.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping cost is based on weight of your item(s) and the shipping distance from Vermont, USA.  You will see all your shipping options and their costs on the second checkout screen, before your credit card is processed.       

I just bought an item. When will you ship it?  

We ship daily (non-holidays) Monday - Friday. We are in Vermont (EST) and ship FedEx at 3:00 EST M-F, and USPS twice daily M-F. We try to ship same day payment is received EXCEPT if shipping via FedEx Ground. FedEx ground items MAY ship same day OR next day.  Please call us at 802 432 8459 if you have a rush, and we will let you know if we can get your item out same-day.

It is later in the day and I just paid for my item. Can you please ship it today?

For USPS and FedEx Express shipping: We try our best to ship the items the same day payment is received (Monday-Friday). Saturday and Sunday orders are shipped on Monday (unless Monday is a holiday).

FedEx ground will most likely ship the NEXT business day after the order was received, since they require a lead time for pick up.

We assume no responsibility or liability and will not accept returns or chargebacks for loss or damage due to delay or inability to delivery, whether or not such loss or damage was made know to us, including, but not limited to, liability for non-performance due to acts of God, war, labor difficulties, accidents, inability to obtain materials, delays of carriers, contractors or suppliers or any other cause of any kind whatsoever beyond our control.  Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any special, consequential, incidental indirect, or liquidated damages, losses, or expense (whether or not based on negligence) arising directly or indirectly from delays or failure to give notice of delay.  

I live in the USA. How long will it take for me to get my item?

USA Addresses: USPS Priority Mail to U.S. Addresses: 

USPS (United States Postal Service) priority mail typically takes two to three days to most locations in the USA. This is NOT a guaranteed service. Your item is shipping from Vermont. Shipping during peak holiday times and/or to geographical areas located further from Vermont may take longer than two to three days.

USA Addresses: USPS Express Mail to U.S. Addresses: 

USPS (United States Postal Service) Express mail typically takes 1 to 2 days to most locations in the USA. This is only a guaranteed service through the post office to the extent that they will refund shipping charges only if your package does not arrive in the stated time window. Your item is shipping from Vermont. Shipping during peak holiday times and/or to geographical areas located further from Vermont often takes longer then one day.

USA Addresses: FedEx Express and FedEx Ground

FedEx times vary - please see   Fedex Delivery Options for detail.  Your item is shipping from U.S.A. zip code 05751. 
FedEx Express picks up from our location M-F at approximately 5:00 p.m. EST. 
FedEx Ground picks up from our location on the NEXT business day after the order was received.  

I live OUTSIDE the USA. How long will it take for me to get my item?

NON-USA Addresses: USPS Priority Mail and USPS Express Mail : 

USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail  and USPS Express Mail delivery times vary for international delivery. My Ugly Christmas Sweater, Inc. is not responsible for delivery delays - See 'Delivery' paragraph above.

International USPS Priority: This is NOT a guaranteed service. Your item is shipping from Vermont, USA. Shipping during peak holiday times will take several days to several weeks to international destinations. The USPS does not guarantee delivery dates for international priority mail. The USPS site ESTIMATES its delivery time for USPS Priority international mail to be 6-10 business days.

International USPS Express Mail: The USPS does guarantee delivery dates to SOME destinations. See USPS site for information.  The USPS guarantee is limited to shipping costs ONLY.  The USPS site ESTIMATES its delivery time for USPS Express international mail to be 3-5 business days.

NON-USA Addresses:  Fedex: International

FedEx shipments to Canada: These are ESTIMATES for FedEx delivery times to Canada. These ESTIMATES are from the FedEx website and are not guaranteed by My Ugly Christmas Sweater, Inc.  Items must be paid for prior to 11:00 a.m. EST for same day shipment, otherwise are shipped next business day.   
FedEx ground: 3-7 business days
FedEx International Economy: 2 business days
FedEx International Priority: 1 business day

I live outside the USA. Will you mark the item as a 'gift' so I can save money on customs charges?

No. We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.
