Cosby 80s Sweaters are in Hot Demand for Ugly Christmas Sweater Parties

Dr. Huxtable from The Cosby Show wore a different colorful sweater for every episode of the popular 80s television show. These outrageous sweaters became known as Cosby sweaters.  Each sweater had crazy patterns and colors and really defined the style of the time. Womens 80s sweaters usually had padded shoulders and bat arms. Most of Dr. Huxtable's sweaters are unfortunately in landfills around the country. But some can be found in thrift stores and on eBay.  

When an 80s sweater can be found, it's ripe for decoration for an ugly Christmas sweater party. These retro sweaters are just awesome. So many of them tell an actual story. Like some have a golf or other sport scene, or some have complex knits with storefronts or animals. Patterns frequently were on the front, back and sleeves.

Here's an example of one of the best 80s sweaters of all time, that was decorated  with a Hanukkah theme. The sweater itself has nothing to do with Hanukkah. But it's SO ugly! All it takes is a few decorations and it's perfect for an UGLY themed holiday party.
